We will be doing a monthly outreach to help feed the homeless/less fortunate in our community. Our first date is scheduled for Sunday, January 20th from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Bethlehem Baptist New Life Church at 1430 W. Bancroft Street, Toledo, OH 43606. Jamie and I will be providing the spaghetti and meatballs, but have a sign-up sheet for the remaining items. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE NOTES BESIDE EACH ITEM YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR SO YOU PROVIDE THE CORRECT QUANTITY NEEDED!! We need all the food to be brought in the aluminum chafing dishes (measurements 20 x 12 x 2-3 inches deep). Please make sure they are completely full as that is what we are basing the portion sizes on.
To sign up for the items you want to bring Go HERE!! If you want to sign up for multiple items, please feel free to do that. We need all items at the church by 2:30 p.m. All items have to be cooked as we only have a warming unit for the food. The link above should take you directly to the sign-up sheet.

Today, I challenge everyone to recognize your garbage man or a janitor (people that normally get overlooked, but are very IMPORTANT people in our communities) and tape some money or a gift card to either your garbage can or somewhere visible for them (we purchased 2, $5 Subway gift cards) as well as attach a card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). The purpose of printing the cards is that the recipient can then recycle it and pass the card on by doing another random act of kindness. My vision is that this will continue and continue until EVERYONE is involved in some capacity. Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!
Most manufacturers have their new marketing budgets in place at the beginning of a New year. So what does that mean for us? It means they are usually pretty generous and willing to give high-value to FREE COUPONS. Today is MONDAY – So you all know what that means, it’s “Manufacturer Monday” ~ WEEK #2 . Most manufacturers love to hear from their consumers and are usually more than happy to send out coupons. We will keep track of our progress. If you receive a coupon or sample please share so we can keep track of this. Each Monday I will give you the manufacturer/company’s name and link to contact the manufacturer. All you have to do is send them an e-mail. I just ask that you be honest in any/all comments you give to them. Let’s have fun with this and see what kind of coupons we come up with!!
Today we will Contact Birds Eye- Freshlike HERE!! I am keeping an Excel file of the date we first contact them and if/when we receive coupons. I am really excited to get started. So let’s have fun with “Manufacturer Monday!!” My best suggestion is to just state in your e-mail how much you/your family like the product and why or if you have never tried the product how much you would like to try the product. You can come right out and ask the manufacturer for coupons, but when actually requesting coupons, you are less likely to receive them when compared to just sending a nice e-mail. Please make sure your comments are honest that you leave.
