This week’s Challenge is to help the Ottawa County Humane Society as they may have to close their doors due to lack of funding. My 7 y/o daughter went on the air and asked everyone to donate just $1. Don’t discount he smallness of $1, Jesus performed a miracle with 5 loaves and 2 fish and can do the same for $1. . . Plus my kids are so upset about this they can’t sleep. . . (so that means I am not getting sleep either LOL:) Here is all the info to get involved

URGENT OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY

Here is the story that channel 13 ran last night about the Ottawa County Humane Society. You can see it by CLICKING HERE!!

Okay I come to you all with a heavy heart. I am not sure if you saw this on the news yesterday but one of our local Humane Society’s may have to shut down due to lack of finances. My 11 y/o son, Isaiah, has been so upset about this. He got little sleep last night and this afternoon said “Mom, can’t we do a fundraiser?” “Can’t we do a spaghetti dinner?” Okay, so I called the Humane Society to see exactly what the needs are and they are donations of food and or monetary donations. We are working right now to secure a place to do a Spaghetti Dinner at, would anyone be willing to help. It would be a Saturday early evening or Sunday after church type of event. It would be in the next few weeks as they need the finances ASAP. I also am challenging everyone to please DONATE $1 for this cause. Most of us can afford $1 to save the lives of pets. . . It doesn’t seem like much but we have THOUSANDS OF FOLLOWERS on this page and if everyone participated, that would an overabundance for them.
