Okay so Case-it has sent me some of their new coupon sleeves to review. As most of you know, I do promote the Case-it binders as I feel the quality is much better than most binders. I often say it is the Cadillac of binders. I have to be honest and tell you I was a little disappointed that the new Dual-500 are priced at $34.99 and really have not promoted them that much due to the cost (when they had the sale that they were only $30, I did give them a big push then as that is more reasonable). I think that is a bit steep, especially since we all are about saving money, but I do know that the quality of their binders is very high. I am still promoting the Dual-100 as I feel those are more reasonably priced. I, personally, went through 3 other binders before I found the case-it and I have not had any problems with mine, plus their customer service has been AMAZING!!
Well, they are now getting into the coupon business and have designed their own “coupon sleeves”. The best part about them is they are double sided. . so that is AWESOME!! The quality is very good and they come in packs of 10 so with them being double sided, you actually have 180 pockets in a 10-pack. Now, I must address a few downfalls that I found in these sleeves. Each one has a tab on it. The benefit to that is you no longer will need to buy tabs to go in the binder, but the downfall is every single page has a tab. Most of us do not need a tab for EVERY SINGLE page (coupon sleeve) and actually I find this to be quite annoying. Too many sleeves with tabs, but you can do 1 of 2 things.
1) Cut the tabs off, but for the money you are spending for the sleeves that seems pretty counterproductive.
2) You could use these sleeves in place of your tab page, thus using it to label each individual category and then use regular baseball card inserts behind each of case-it sleeves in each category.
Again, the quality is very high, higher than even the high-quality baseball card sleeves I currently purchase, but I really wish they would not have put the tab on each one or better yet, I wish they would make some without the tab on them. I love that they are double sided as this really does cut down on space in our binders and is pretty sweet. I also think they needed to go with the printable tab sheets as this makes it much more cleaner than handwriting the category name on each small piece of paper that is only half the size of the tab itself (seems a little strange), but all in all I think they have a very good product!
So that is my review and I think they will be available for sale in a few weeks!!
