**DAY 88 CHALLENGE**

**This will start being our challenge every Friday. I want us to send a card to a stranger in every state. Each week, pick a different state and just keep track of it. Then weeks 51 and 52 we will send a CHRISTmas Card and a New Year Card.**

So today, I am challenging everyone to send a “thinking of you” or “encouraging” card to a complete stranger.  Now this is the fun part. . . How are we going to find that stranger?  Honestly, I am sooooooo excited I can’t hardly stand it:)

**DAY 86 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to write an encouraging note on Whispering Winds Church’s FB page upon the tragic death of Kaitlin Gerber ONLY 20 years old. This is taken directly from their page – “For those who aren’t aware, she was shot and killed by a former boyfriend Sunday morning, March 24, 2013. Kaitlin was truly an amazing person who worked with us for years leading children’s programming on Wednesday nights. My children began their lives at church either in her arms or under her guidance. They love her as we love her. She was dedicated, responsible, dependable and was willing to do anything to help out. I never heard her use the word “no” when there was a task to be done. But most of all, Kaitlin possessed a gentle and caring spirit.”

I am not sure if her parents will look at this page, but what a testimony to know so many are thinking and praying for her family and church family.

I hope everyone gets involved in this challenge.  We truly can show the love of Christ in such a small, small way! None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

**DAY 85 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to  drop off a baggie or baggies somewhere and include a tag that says “NoBunny Loves you Like Jesus” ”  You can print the tags HERE ~ THANK YOU DETAIL-ORIENTED DIVA.   I put a 365 Days of Kindness card inside so the person receiving it can pass it on –  (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). If you are not sure where to drop it off at, take it to a library, the mall, honestly anywhere. . . My vision is that this will continue and continue until EVERYONE is involved in some capacity.    Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

Today, I challenge everyone to donate 5-items (nonperishable or hygienic) to a local food bank, shelter, or family you may know in need.  Please remember food stamps ONLY cover foods so many families have to go without the necessities, i.e. toothpaste, feminine care products, deodorant, etc.  These items are always greatly appreciated.  Please  also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards  HERE or make your own.   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

Today, I challenge everyone to bake cookies or cupcakes or any treat (even store bought) and take to a public service worker, i.e. fire station, police station, etc.  It could even be your local bank, gas station, or hair salon.  Make sure to attach a ‘Thank you” and also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards  HERE!   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!

Today, I challenge everyone to go to a book store and purchase a gift card or put money in any book in the store with a note that says “You are the recipient of Day 80 of 365 Days Of Kindness” as well as attach a card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). (The amount can be as small as $1 or as much as you want!)  Remember no amount is too small ~ Jesus performed the miracle with 5 loaves and 2 fish and can do the same with $1 if that is all you have!!  Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. **DAY 79 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to send a thinking of you card to 2 families who lost their young children back in January. They were the recipients of Day 9 of 365 Days of Kindness, but I would like to send them cards again, but this time letting them know we are still thinking and praying for them. Upon losing a child myself, I know that it got really tough for us at about the 3-month point. Everyone else’s lives go on, but you are still hurting so bad, so I think this would be a great way to show them we remember their loss and we still remember. So many people are afraid to bring up the loss,  because they think it will cause more pain, but honestly a parent that has lost a child does not FORGET and you letting them know you care and still remember, means more than I am sure most people know.

There are many sites that allow you to print FREE cards. To print Thinking of You Cards CLICK HERE.  If you would rather purchase a card, please feel free to do that also.  I would ask you to also pray for the recipient of these cards.

**Here are the 2 families that lost their children back in January**

Bailee Marie Britton – This 17-month old precious child passed away on Friday the 4th. They took her to the hospital on Monday, and by Friday she had slipped into a coma and was gone, she leaves behind a twin sister.  You can view her obituary by CLICKING HERE.They did an MRI and discovered a tumor on her brain, but then she went into the coma and lost all brain activity before they could discover what kind of tumor it was. Maddy Lambert – This precious 9 y/o child passed away this morning, 1/8 at 5:30 a.m. after a several year battle with leukemia.   CLICK HERE TO READ AN ARTICLE A FEW YEARS BACK ABOUT THIS PRECIOUS CHILD.  Cards can be sent to parents,  Russ and Dorothy Lambert,  104 Sylvanus Street, Archbold, OH 43502  (Thanks Jennifer for the information)

**DAY 78 CHALLENGE**

Today, I challenge everyone to collect your Box Tops for Education and take them to your local school or give to a family that has children in school. This is FREE and most of us have many items that have Box Tops, but this BLESSES a school greatly. We will also be attaching a 365 Days of Kindness Card (YOU CAN PRINT THE CARDS BY CLICKING HERE). The purpose of printing the cards is that the recipient can then recycle it and pass the card on by doing another random act of kindness.  My vision is that this will continue and continue until EVERYONE is involved in some capacity.   Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!
