365 Days of Kindness – Day 25
So many AMAZING stories from the 365 Days of Kindness from last year and so far this year! If you would like to share your story, GO HERE!! It is so encouraging and exciting to watch God at work. THANK YOU JESUS!! I will start posting the night before so everyone can like and share with their friends and family. Let’s get everyone we know involved in this movement of the 365 Days of Kindness:)
**DAY 25 CHALLENGE**
Recipe for Cinnamon Sugared Almonds!!!! These are absolutely AWESOME. We have also made these with cashews too:)
Ingredients
3 cups whole almonds, raw or cashews
1 cup sugar
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup water
Instructions
In a large pot combine the sugar, cinnamon, and water over medium-high heat until the sugar has dissolved. This will take a few minutes. Now add the almonds or cashews and stir constantly with a spatula, coating the almonds with the syrupy mixture. You will need to keep stirring until the sugar crystallizes (this takes about 8-10 minutes) and it looks like gritty sand!! Remove the pan from heat and scoop the almonds onto wax or parchment paper.
Today, I challenge everyone to bake cookies or cupcakes or any treat (we are making the Rocky Road Brownies) or even store bought and take to a public service worker, i.e. fire station, police station, etc. It could even be your local bank, gas station, or hair salon. Make sure to attach a ‘Thank you” and also include one of the 365 Days of Kindness cards HERE! Who’s in? I am praying that everyone gets involved in this. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we serve Jesus. We can make an impact in our communities, one life at a time!!
GOD IS GOOD. . ALL THE TIME!!
