HERE IS A VIDEO OF SOME TESTIMONY OF WHAT TODAY MEANT TO SOME OF THE RECIPIENTS ~ It is heartwarming!
I am just so full of emotions. . . to see God at work in such a mighty way is amazing. To think Jamie and I woke up one night and felt God’s nudging telling us to do more in our communities and after a few days of pray, this is what we came up with . . obviously God-inspired. If you have been following this page long, you know we dream God-sized dreams. Why dream those little dreams when we serve a God that created the universe. ALL things are possible through Christ if it is to glorify him. We had no idea how this would come to be, but we had faith that God would provide and HE showed up in a BIG WAY!! We received all the donations to make this day happen. We have put hours of planning in to today and honestly not sure how many would show up but our pray continued to be whomever showed up to feel the unconditional love of Jesus. So many think the church is a building, but I am here to tell you “WE, all of us, are the church”. We can impact our communities. We can make positive things happen, when we take the focus off of ourselves and put it on others. I was humbled with all that transpired today. We first began the day in prayer. . .

So many may look at this as a FREE laundry day, but it was so much more than that. It was a way to share the Love of Jesus with so many in a tangible way. . serving them by doing their laundry. Three weeks ago Jamie and I made our first trip to the laundromat to meet the owner and go over details. We met Linda. Linda is deaf and I wrote on a piece of paper to her and her husband what we were doing and she put it in her phone immediately. Linda was there by 10 a.m. today and we were not scheduled to start until 11 a.m. She gave me the biggest hug and I was filled with so much joy.
As most of you know we also hired two officers for safety issues, etc. We prayed that God would send us the perfect officers and I am here to tell you, they were the BEST. Officer Anthony Gillen and Officer Kimberly Darrington touched my heart.

They were wonderful with us, with the people coming in, with our kids, and just an all around class act. We were so blessed to have met both of them and I am sure they will be helping on our other service projects we do, including our next FREE Laundromat day. The stories from so many of the people who arrived today was amazing. I had one guy ask me, so you’re telling me you are going to pay for my wash, the dryer, supply all the detergent, and fold my clothes, and I can walk out to my car and nobody is going to chase after me and I won’t get in trouble. He was serious. He was so thankful when we told him correct, it was a FREE gift!!

I had a little girl come up to me to thank me for letting them do their laundry for FREE. God was in the House today and I felt his presence in so many ways. We were able to do 111 loads, simply amazing!!

Chick Fil A donated 600 nuggets – Thank you Chick Fil A. If you are local, I would love if you would support the one on the corner of Talmadge and Sylvania. It was amazing. Marco’s pizza donated 10 pizzas also. Simply amazing!! As I videotaped people giving their testimonies of what today meant to them, I was humbled. There is something truly about the less fortunate that melts my heart. My new friend, Dennis, kept hugging me and thanking me. He was embarrassed of his clothing as they were dirty but was so thankful he finally could wash them. To watch everyone there embrace the people as they came in and show them the love of Jesus. We had an overabundance of food and that was amazing too. No only did they get treated like Queens and Kings, but they were served food (no strings attached). Ms. Geneva who was so excited and told us she felt like a Queen. She was dancing with Jamie at one point and just kept saying God Bless.

So many shared, that they feel they get overlooked. That people look at them and judge them and pass them by. God doesn’t make Junk. They may be going through a rough patch in their life and they don’t need a handout, only a handup and that is what they were given today. They were shown Love, an unconditional love that only comes from Christ. These people that some look down on, I consider my friends. They touch my heart in so many ways. I love them so much and want to be there and love them, share my joy with them, and encourage them.

The one gentleman told me the only words I can say are Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. God is working in our community. God is doing wonderful things. If you hear God telling you to do something, don’t be afraid to try it no matter what anyone else says, because if it is God inspired, he will bring it to pass. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do, we serve Jesus. I truly am humbled how God is using our family and I stand in Awe of his goodness. I can tell you I will continue to serve the least of these until I take my last breath. All I see is God’s masterpieces in everyone. . no matter what color, what someone does for a living, if you live in a mansion, homeless. It doesn’t matter to me, because I will love you, because you are a wonderful masterpiece that God created and I am blessed by everyone that I come in contact with. I am honored to be able to serve others and I love to see the joy in others faces as someone cares enough to serve them. . Matthew 25:40. Thank you to everyone who believes in what we are doing, supporting us, and loving us. I love you guys more than you will ever know!!!
