Helping Each Other

As most of you know by now I am a pretty open book and share my heart very openly and freely. Today, my heart is heavy and I would like to share some things. If you have been following our blog very long, you know it is so much more than a couponing blog. We do a TON of outreach and acts of kindness for others. I feel that is the most important thing and God has given us the ability through coupons to bless so many others. Matthew 25:40. I know God has given us each different gifts and some look at the outreach and think, “I don’t have any money I can’t help”, but there are so many ways EVERYONE can help.

Can you spare $1, then that is AWESOME and God can perform the miracle with $1 just like he did with 5 loaves and 2 fish.
You can share on your FB wall or twitter accounts. Many of our friends and family may be moved to want to help, but if they don’t know about it, they can’t help.

1 and 3 are completely FREE costing us nothing, but could be the missing piece of the puzzle that we need to make things happen. I tweeted the other day to Ellen and asked for help for our FREE Laundromat Day and asked everyone to retweet. That meant everyone just needed to go in, go to my account @freetastesgood and then click the retweet button, which would take about 5-10 seconds. We only received 75 retweets out of almost 24K followers on FB and over 500K visitors on the blog. I will admit, I was disappointed. This was something that would cost nothing, but something that could be a HUGE IMPACT. Many lives would be impacted by a FREE Laundromat Day. This isn’t for anyone to get a pat on the back, but for God to be glorified and to show others the Love of Jesus!! Something so simple. I have spent many hours in prayer over the last 24 hours and asking God for wisdom, how to word this without being offensive to anyone, and I just want to say that sometimes we need to go that extra mile and get out of our comfort zone for someone else. I very rarely will EVER ask for anything for myself or my family, BUT I will frequently ask for help to bless others and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Most of the times I am asking for $1 donation, prayer, or sharing/retweeting things that we post to get the word out about our outreaches. My continued prayer is that many get involved in some way, shape, or form. We can’t do this alone, but it takes all of us doing something small, to get to the end result, something HUGE, . all for the glory of God!! Thanks for letting me share!! Let’s all of us help each other, so there are no missing pieces to the puzzle!!
