Here is a picture from my recent trip to NYC with Sean, producer of 20/20, myself, and Lydia. I totally fell in love with both of them. They were amazing with me and just made me feel completely comfortable. Deborah Roberts is who did the interview and I might add, she is a lovely lady. Very down to earth and she also made me feel very comfortable. I think the interview went well, it was about Black Friday, saving money, and giving back. . of course the last part is the most important part to me. I am completely humbled how God is using my family. If you would have told me 20 years ago when my kids were going to bed every night saying “Mommy I’m hungry” I would have not believed it. I now stand in Awe at God’s goodness. I stand in Awe of the “small vision” we have of God, when we serve a God that created the universe. His blessings are endless when we are obedient. I will continue to spread the Good news of Hope, Joy, and Love that only come from Christ and I will continue to stand in the gap for others. I know what it feels like to be judged and looked down on and I pledge that I will be each of your biggest cheerleader and there to encourage you. I believe in ALL OF YOU and I am here to help you all. None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone, and when we do we SERVE JESUS!! I love seeing what we are all capable of doing TOGETHER. These last two years of running the blog have been simply amazing and I love getting to know each of you. Thank you all for your support and love to me and my family as well. Jesus performed a miracle with 5 loaves and 2 fishes and he can do the same with our coupons when we put him in the middle of it. . but it takes ALL OF US to make this happen, one coupon at a time, one community at a time. . all for the Glory of God!! Thank you ABC, Thank you Deborah Roberts, Thank you Sean and Lydia – THANK YOU JESUS!!!
While there I also got to meet my ghost writer, Beth Adelman, and her husband, Craig. Beth is very special to me and I am certain we will be lifetime friends! I appreciate her more than she can probably ever imagine. She has conveyed my passion for giving back in this book and has spent numerous hours with me. Thank you Beth ~ I love you!!
