Fridays are officially declared as “Family Fun Fridays” on the blog:) On Fridays, I will be taking time off in the afternoon to spend quality, fun time with my husband and kids. I feel in the busyness of life we all need to take a step back and just have downtime and that is what we do as a family every Friday, but I will officially be taking a few hours off every Friday afternoon to have that time with my husband and kids. Friday night is usually movie night at our house where we will rent a movie and then Jamie hooks it up to our projector and we watch it off the wall in our great room and feel like we are at the movie theater without the cost of the movie tickets or snacks. This has become a fun family tradition in our house and a way to spend time as a family. Also, every Friday we pick a different event to do as a family. . . i.e. bowling, going on a picnic and to the park. There are so many things that you can do for FREE. Family Time does not have to cost money, it is just time to spend together as a family, going for a walk, sitting down and just talking to your kids. The greatest thing we can give to our kids besides Christ is our attention and love.
Another inexpensive thing that I posted about Sunday was Bedrock Miniature Golf that is located at 6400 Jackman Road, Temperance, MI 48182. Cost 12 and under is $4 and over 13 is $5 for 36 holes – YES 36! Plus if you have the entertainment book, there is a B1G1 FREE so one of you gets to golf for FREE!
Tonight we will be making the CopyCat Girl Scout Cookies that I posted about earlier in the week! I will post a picture and let you know how they turned out. . we are excited about this.
If you know of FREE/cheap events or other fun ways that you spend with your family, please share with us.
