We need to remember when we say we are Christians we are a direct reflection of Jesus to many. People are watching us to see how we act and react in all situations. Today, be the best image of Jesus knowing we may be the only Bible (Jesus) others will ever see. Don’t turn them away but let them see the Love of Jesus through each and every one of us:)
Tomorrow is a New Day, a New Year. . . we have 365 days to make it a GREAT year. As much as we have hopes and dreams for our lives, let’s give our lives completely over to God and see what plans He has for them. Let’s make the year the BEST year yet.
One thing we need to remember is the past is the past. We cannot change it, all we can do is learn from it and move forward. God doesn’t want us to remain in our past, but wants us to move forward. No matter what you have done, God can erase it and make you whole again. Move forward with no regrets and make the best life you can all for God’s glory.
DECEMBER DAILY DEVOTION #Truth . . so often when we are in a dark place, we just want to jump off, but it is during the dark times that we grow the most. No matter what you are facing today, know God is in complete control and trust him completely. Know “You are coming out soon”, trust the creator of our life.
As I was going through my health scare a few years ago, I found myself googling all sorts of stuff and then I thought “Why am I not going to the word and meditating on that”. God’s word is truth. Our problems and trials may seem so BIG, but when we trust God we know that He is BIGGER than anything we will ever face. All we have to have is faith as small as a mustard seed. If you are facing something today that causes you fear or worry, open up your Bible and start praying and trusting God. His plans are better than ours.
#TRUTH. There is no greater love than to lay down your life for another. May we always remember the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for each of us. He loved us so much that he laid his life down for us, for you and for me. Today do something BIG in the name of Jesus – forgive, love, give a part of you to someone who needs it.
So often we have dreams for our lives, plans that we make, but they don’t always align with God’s plans for our lives. We need to step back and ask God who he created us to be and then be obedient even when we are not comfortable. God does not call the equipped, He equips the called. His plans are so much better than ours.
When we go through struggles, how do we respond? So often, we become discouraged, but God’s word says in John 16:33 ““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” God gives us peace, a peace that passes all understanding, but we have to stand on His promises, on His word, and meditate on it day and night. When you find yourself in the midst of a dark time, Rejoice, because God is up to something or Satan wouldn’t be working so hard to discourage you.
No battle is TOO BIG for God. At the end of the battle is a blessing. Hold tight and enjoy then adventurous journey you are on – God has you covered. Trust and believe.
One of the most difficult things is waiting, especially in a world where so often we can get instant gratification. We need to remember that God’s timing is perfect and even though it may appear to be taking a long time, God has to align everything up. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”. God is in control and is on the move in your life; just believe 🙂
